What You Need to Know

This website includes details on pricing, policies, consent forms, and a link to the schedule. I appreciate all the support for this new business venture and look forward to providing quality instruction for baseball and softball players of all ages!

As per the recommendation of my insurance company, Swing Like a Pro with Ken Joyce requires all participants to sign a waiver and liability release form. Get the form by clicking here. You can sign it and send it back to us via email or bring it with you when you visit the Hit Pit. Additionally, I will have hard copies available at the Hit Pit.

The hours for Swing Like a Pro are listed below. This schedule may change occasionally based on the availability of the Hit Pit at the Westbrook Community Center. If you need any clarification regarding the schedule, please feel free to reach out here for assistance. I appreciate your understanding and flexibility as I work to provide the best experience possible.

To schedule lessons, please click this link. Ensure that you add names to the schedule in the appropriate available slots. The white cells indicate my available times, while the black cells represent periods when I am unavailable or when the Hit Pit is being used by others. If you use your phone in dark mode, the color scheme reverses: white represents unavailable times, and black represents available times. You do not need to register with Google to add names to the schedule. I would like to remind new participants to email me so I can have contact information for those visiting the Hit Pit.

Due to high demand and limited time, you must consider others when signing up for lessons. Everyone is extremely busy throughout the year, so it is critical to be aware of your child’s schedule before scheduling a session. As a reminder, lessons cancelled within a twenty-four-hour period should be paid in full. It is also important to understand that one player does not always benefit from a one-hour session. Players get fatigued when taking too many swings, which may lead to poor performance and a breakdown of mechanics. It may be beneficial to opt for shorter sessions to maintain engagement and focus. To maximize an hour-long lesson, please consider pairing up with a friend or sibling. This improves the learning process and makes the practice more enjoyable. Additionally, collaborating with someone else allows for the sharing of tips and strategies, enriching the overall experience.

During the winter season, I want to make sure you all have access to the links below to check the possibility of cancellations due to inclement weather. When the Westbrook Community Center closes, we will cancel Swing Like a Pro lessons. Please check the links below for the WCC before heading out to lessons. You can also text my cell phone at 207-749-3663 to check the availability of the Hit Pit during storms. We want to make sure everyone stays safe and healthy during the winter season.
